Hamilton Farm is a private, 36-hole golf club set on the grounds of the former James Cox Brady estate in Somerset, New Jersey, located in Gladstone, New Jersey. The 18-hole Highlands course features 7,117 yards of golf for a par of 72 and opened in 2001, designed by the noted golf course design team of Dr. Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry. There is both an eighteen hole course known as the Highlands and an eighteen par 3 course known as the Hickory, the only USGA rated par 3 course in the country.
Holes play uphill and downhill, over and beside ponds and wetlands, out in the open, in the trees, over deep ravines and gentle meadows. Among its most distinctive features are sculpted bunkers with high sand flashing, recreating the older, dramatic style of bunkering. The best is kept until last on the front nine as the 559-yard 9th ("Waterjump") is a wonderful par five that culminates in an approach across a wetland area. The 196-yard 17th, "Calamity," emulates its namesake, the par three 14th hole on the Dunluce course at Royal Portrush.
The club was 2019 & 2021 New Jersey PGA Club of the Year and ranked in Golf Digest Best Courses in State. The course hosted the HSBC Women's World Match Play Championship in 2005-06. The property also serves as the headquarters for the US Equestrian Team, which uses the facility for Olympic competition training.
