Worcester Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course located in the foothills of the Brandwacht Mountains, offering panoramic views of Worcester and the Breede River Valley. Officially opened on April 30, 1988, the course was designed to complement the rugged natural beauty of the Karoo landscape, enhanced with indigenous trees, dams, and watercourses. The layout features large bentgrass greens maintained to championship standards. The course is characteristically challenging, rewarding aggressive play while severely penalizing poor shots. Its setting in the scenic Breede River Valley, combined with cart-friendly design and modern facilities including a pro shop, halfway house, and clubhouse with bar, makes it a notable destination course. The club accommodates tournaments and special events, with capacity for 160 guests in its function facility.
