Silwerstrand Golf and River Estate

Silwerstrand Golf and River Estate is an 18-hole golf course located in the Robertson district of the Breede River Valley Winelands, approximately 2km southwest of Robertson and on the route between Robertson and Worcester. The course is situated within a residential estate bordered by 1.5km of the Breede River and surrounded by the rolling Langeberg mountains, vineyards, and orchards.

The golf course was completed approximately five years prior to the website content publication, following a development process that began with a 2004 launch date but experienced significant delays due to environmental and planning approvals. The course is characterized by its scenic setting, with elevated sections in the Riverside area offering views of the Breede River valley and surrounding mountains.

The estate comprises 168 hectares of land divided into three sections: the Golf Course, Village, and Riverside areas. Facilities include a clubhouse with restaurant and bar, pro shop, and driving range practice facilities. The course is managed by Robertson Golf Club and is described as one of the more affordable golf estates in the Cape region, offering a peaceful setting that appeals to both golfers and residents seeking tranquility.
