Worcester Golf Club is a championship 18-hole course located in the foothills of the Brandwacht Mountains, offering panoramic views of Worcester and the Breede River Valley. Officially opened on April 30, 1988, the course was developed on terrain described as one of the finest golf sites in the world. The layout incorporates the rugged natural beauty of the Karoo landscape, enhanced by indigenous trees, dams, and watercourses. The course features large bentgrass greens maintained to championship standards and is characterized as challenging, rewarding bold shots while severely penalizing poor ones. The setting combines scenic valley views with the dramatic backdrop of surrounding mountains. The facility includes a pro shop, halfway house, clubhouse bar, and function facilities accommodating up to 160 guests, making it suitable for both competitive play and social events. The course is golf cart friendly with designated cart roads throughout.
