Wild Dunes - Links Course ☆ Follow

The Links Course is located at Wild Dunes Resort on Isle of Palms, South Carolina, and was designed by Tom Fazio as his first solo design. The 18-hole course features 6,722 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Rolling fairways framed by palms and oaks lead to dramatic finishing holes on the Atlantic, where ocean breezes and sweeping views shape every round. Highlights include the memorable par-3 12th, a partially blind shot over native dunes, and the closing stretch where the Atlantic sets a spectacular stage.

The two nines were very different. The front nine was hilly with many elevation changes mostly with some holes along the marshes, while the back nine was a lot flatter with a few holes on the ocean. Once a par-5, the 18th now concludes as a scenic par-3 beside the shoreline, delivering one of the Lowcountry's most unforgettable finishes. The 17th is one of the best holes in the Southeast.

The course hosted the 1985 U.S. Senior Amateur. The Links Course pairs championship-level challenge with breathtaking scenery—a true icon of coastal golf.
