RiverTowne Country Club, located off Highway 41 in Mount Pleasant, is home to Charleston's only Arnold Palmer Signature golf course. The course features 18 holes at 7,188 yards with a slope of 145. Situated among scenic marshlands with 13 holes along the Wando River and Horlbeck Creek, the 18-hole championship course features exceptional year-round playing conditions, tree-lined fairways and multi-tiered greens guarded by bunkers and water. The front nine is less challenging than the back nine but is by no means easy, with more open holes but unexpected hazards, while the tighter back nine demands accuracy and thoroughly tests club selection.

The course has been awarded 4.5 stars by Golf Digest, hosted LPGA tournaments and was named Charleston Golf Course of the Year in 2015. Since opening for play in 2002, RiverTowne earned an Honorable Mention among Golf Digest's Best New Courses. The finishing holes are notably challenging, including the 15th hole, a 490-yard par 4 with a large bunker in the dogleg, the 16th, a 533-yard par 5 with traps and marshes, and the 18th, a 480-yard par 4 considered one of the toughest holes in the Lowcountry.
