Tramore Golf Club, located in Ireland's South East, is one of the country's oldest golf clubs, with golf played on the site since 1894. The club now features 27 holes of championship parkland golf, combining the historic Old Course with the newer Newtown Nine. The Old Course has established itself as a premier parkland layout in Ireland, while the Newtown Nine offers a challenging nine-hole alternative.
The course features sand-based greens constructed to USGA standards, providing consistent playing conditions. Set within parkland terrain with stunning views, Tramore has hosted the Irish Close Championship on three occasions, demonstrating its championship credentials. The blend of traditional and modern design creates a distinctive golfing experience.
The club offers comprehensive facilities including a practice area with short game, bunkers, and nets, a clubhouse bistro, bar, pro shop with coaching, and Trackman coaching facilities. On-site accommodation with six twin rooms is available for visitors. Tramore continues to host regular competitions and remains a popular golfing destination in Waterford.
