Waterford Golf Club

Waterford Golf Club, founded in 1912, is situated on a hill overlooking the historic city of Waterford in Ireland's Sunny South East. The course features a distinctive design split between two legendary architects: the front nine was designed by Willie Park Junior, a twice Open Champion, while the back nine was designed by James Braid, a five-time Open Champion. This collaboration of two of golf's greatest designers creates a course with classical character and challenging play. The club's elevated location provides commanding views of the surrounding landscape and the city below. Waterford Golf Club hosted the Irish Senior Men's Amateur Close Championship in 2021, reflecting its standing within Irish golf.
