The Golf Club at Middle Bay is an 18-hole course featuring 6,821 yards of golf for a par of 72. The course has a rating of 73.5 and a slope rating of 131 on bent grass. The course was architected by Alfred H. Tull in 1955 and underwent renovation by Kipp Schulties in 2007.

Located on Long Island's south shore overlooking barrier islands including Jones Beach, Point Lookout, and Lido Beach, nearly every hole offers water views. The course features a mix of inland parkland holes with tree-lined fairways and waterside linksy holes, creating a challenging layout that requires accuracy and length due to numerous water hazards, wind, and tight corridors from tree growth. The design includes strong greenside bunkering and mounding, which provides the primary land movement on otherwise very flat terrain.

The course has hosted many PGA, MGA, and LIGA tournaments as well as numerous Metropolitan PGA Junior tour events.
