Te Ngutu Golf Club

Te Ngutu Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course located in South Taranaki, near Normanby, established in its current layout following the club's foundation in 1932. The course features multiple tee options: Men's White Tees play at par 71 (5,428 metres), Men's Blue Tees at par 71 (5,558 metres), Women's at par 72 (4,937 metres), and a Short Course at par 71 (3,147 metres).

Despite its relatively compact length, Te Ngutu presents substantial challenges for golfers of all skill levels through strategically positioned trees, bunkers, and notably high-quality greens ranked among New Zealand's best. The course is set within a picturesque rural South Taranaki landscape, with individual holes named after local landmarks and features including "Egmont," "Hurricane," and "Cosy Corner."

The well-maintained layout combines groomed fairways with natural terrain characteristics, offering both aesthetic appeal and technical difficulty. The club welcomes visitors and operates a fully stocked golf shop on-site, establishing itself as a significant regional golfing destination.
