Manaia Golf Club

Manaia Golf Club is situated 15 kilometres west of Hawera along Surf Highway 45 in the southern Manaia Township, nestled in prime dairy farmland with scenic mountain views. The 18-hole course features a par 71 layout measuring 5,469 metres for men and par 72 at 4,871 metres for ladies, offering an interesting and pleasant challenge suitable for easy walking.

The course is distinguished by its historical and natural features, including the Manaia Redoubt and an historic Maori Pa located within the grounds. A scenic walkway meanders through the course along the banks of the Waiokura Stream, adding character to the playing experience.

Manaia Golf Club welcomes visitors without requiring advance tee bookings, subject to course availability confirmation. The club maintains an active schedule with Men's Day on Saturdays, Ladies Day on Tuesdays (9 and 18 holes), and Junior Coaching on Sundays. The club operates a successful junior programme and offers clubhouse facilities available for outside functions and corporate tournaments, with campervan facilities also provided.
