The South Course at Olympia Fields Country Club is an 18-hole championship golf course located in Olympia Fields, Illinois, approximately 25 miles south of downtown Chicago. Designed by Tom Bendelow, the course plays at par 72 over 7,114 yards with a slope rating of 144. The South Course features a strategic layout with lush tree-lined fairways and walkable routing suitable for players of all skill levels. The course was renovated in 2007 by Steve Smyers, whose redesign work was ranked No. 2 in Golf Digest's 2010 list of Best New Renovations.

Historically, the South Course was created from portions of three original courses at Olympia Fields after the club sold land during financial difficulties in World War II. The course is regularly ranked among the top ten golf courses in Illinois and is characterized by excellent land features and beautiful natural terrain. While overshadowed by the club's championship North Course, the South Course offers a more approachable yet still challenging test of golf that incorporates significant elevation changes and water features.

Olympia Fields Country Club was founded in 1915 and has hosted multiple major championships, including PGA Championships (1925, 1961) and U.S. Opens (1928, 2003). The club also hosted the 2015 U.S. Amateur and the 2017 KPMG Women's PGA Championship. The iconic clubhouse, completed in 1925, features an 80-foot clock tower and is one of the largest private clubhouses ever built.
