Riverside Golf Club is a par-3 short hole course located in Ravenstonedale, a village in the upper Eden Valley within the Yorkshire Dales National Park in Cumbria. The 18-hole course features 9 greens with fairways ranging from 70-140 yards, designed for accessibility to golfers of all abilities and skill levels. Set in a picturesque wooded location beneath the Howgill Fells, the course offers undulating greens amid scenic countryside. Despite its short length, the course is considered by local golfers to present a high degree of difficulty due to its demanding green play. The course was opened in January 2000 by Bernard Law, a Ravenstonedale resident who created and maintains it. The setting provides an idyllic playing experience in peaceful surroundings, surrounded by natural wildlife including red squirrels. The course hosts the annual Ravenstonedale Open and welcomes visitors alongside its established membership, offering approximately one to two hours of golf in an outstanding natural landscape.
