Appleby Golf Club is an 18-hole inland links course located in Cumbria, England, situated alongside the A66 with convenient east and west access. Designed by Open Champion Willie Fernie, the course utilizes natural contours, heather, and bracken features characteristic of links-style golf. Built on a sandstone bedrock, Appleby offers excellent drainage, making it playable year-round—a notable advantage in the Cumbrian climate. The greens are particularly renowned for their consistent quality throughout the seasons.

The signature hole is the 15th, known as the Bell Hole, which presents a challenging combination of Hilton Beck out of bounds and a concealed green.
