Kirkby Lonsdale Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course situated in the picturesque Lune Valley within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The course measures 6,594 yards and is laid out across more than 160 acres of spectacular countryside, established in 1991 and now at a mature level of conditioning.

The layout consists of two anti-clockwise nine-hole loops that utilize the natural terrain effectively. The front nine crosses Barbon Beck and descends toward the River Lune before returning to the clubhouse. The back nine heads north up the valley, offering views of the Howgill Fells, with the 15th green situated at the course's highest point. The final three holes provide a challenging finish into prevailing southwesterly winds, with the signature par-3 17th hole featuring a green positioned just over Barbon Beck.

The course presents moderate difficulty with its length and natural terrain variations. It is characterized by generous spacing between holes and demands particular challenge on windy days. The setting is described as remote but visually stunning, with magnificent views throughout the round. The course welcomes visitors and offers various membership options, including a new lifestyle membership designed for less frequent players.
