Ramsey Golf & Country Club

Ramsey Golf & Country Club is a historic private club located in Ramsey, Bergen County, New Jersey, approximately 30 miles from Manhattan. The property features an 18-hole golf course surrounded by formal English gardens, a lakefront pool and beach area, and paddle tennis facilities across its 220-acre estate.

The club's centerpiece is a 19th-century stone castle clubhouse, originally designed with Norman architecture and modeled after Ramsey Abbey in England. The clubhouse overlooks the 18th green and Mirror Lake, housing the Lakeside Grille & Bar restaurant and private dining facilities including the Grand Ballroom and Abbey Dining Room.

Founded in the early 1900s on the original estate, Ramsey Golf & Country Club has maintained much of its original architecture while evolving into a comprehensive country club community. The property now includes 560 homes integrated within the club grounds, creating a residential community centered around the club's amenities.

While golf privileges are restricted to private members, the dining and catering facilities are open to the public, offering access to the club's restaurant and event spaces for weddings, receptions, and private functions.
