Pine Island Country Club is an 18-hole course featuring 6,476 yards of golf for a par of 71. The course was designed by Charles M. Mahannah, Jr. and Gleason Golf Course Design, and opened in 2006. The course rating is 71.9 with a slope rating of 136 on Bermuda grass. Located in northwest Charlotte, the course is conveniently positioned off I-485, minutes from Uptown Charlotte, Charlotte-Douglas International Airport and interstates 85 and 77.

The course layout emphasizes shot placement and strong short game play with a variety of different angles and elevation changes. The course features small greens with lots of contours and bentgrass that maintains good speed during hot Carolina summers. Practice facilities span over 7 acres and include a teeing area with grass and artificial turf, a practice chipping green with bunker, and an oversized lighted putting green.

Pine Island serves as a venue for company, civic and charity golf tournaments. The club is a private facility that functions as a full-service country club offering golf as one of its primary amenities alongside dining, social activities, and family-oriented recreational facilities.
