Renaissance Park Golf Course is an 18-hole course featuring 7,360 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72, designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan and opened in 1988. The course rating is 75.8 with a slope rating of 126 on Bermuda grass. The 18-hole layout was constructed on land once reserved for a landfill, located in Southwest Charlotte and featuring a beautiful landscape filled with nature and flora.

The layout features a variety of holes with elevated tees or greens, with the back nine particularly feeling like a mountain course as it winds through trees and streams. Notable features include the 220-yard par 3 13th hole with an elevated tee approximately 150 feet above the green. The closing three holes present significant challenges, including a par 5 with an approach over a pond, a sloping dogleg left par 4 with the green in a valley, and a blind tee shot par 4 with an approach guarded by another pond.

Renaissance Park is a Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Facility managed by Ratcliffe Golf Services, Inc. In summer 2021, the course was renovated with new Bermudagrass greens.
