Cramer Mountain Club was designed in 1985 by legendary Dan Maples on 184 acres of land. The course is an 18-hole par 72 championship course playing 6,486 yards from the back tees, featuring a mountain course feel with extreme elevation changes and beautiful topography. Located just outside of Charlotte, NC, the course is situated in the Cramerton area of Gaston County.

The course features drastic elevation changes, requiring golfers to account for yardage adjustments due to slope factor, and rewards accurate shot-making over length. Every hole weaves through the forest of the mountain. The golf course underwent significant improvements in 2014, undertaken by former Superintendent Paul Stroman and Golf Course Services INC, whose team has worked on courses like Augusta National and Quail Hollow.

The club hosted the inaugural NC High School Golf Coaches Tar Heel Cup invitational. Cramer Mountain Club offers a golf course, tennis courts, restaurant and swimming pool.
