Packsaddle Ridge Golf Club is an 18 hole golf course located in the Shenandoah Valley near Harrisonburg, Virginia and Massanutten Resort. Designed by renowned golf architect Russell Breeden, this 4-year project required an incredible one million tons of rock and 750,000 tons of top soil to be moved. The course has a par of 72 and measures 7024 yards. Five sets of tees are offered with the Black (Championship) tees recommended only for highly skilled players.
The facility was built on more than 500 acres of rolling countryside. Packsaddle Ridge is a mountain course with elevation changes that challenges all skill levels. Golfers enjoy views of the Appalachian, Blue Ridge, and Massanutten mountain ranges, with views of the Shenandoah Valley visible from the 13th green that can extend to West Virginia. The course was rated 4.5 stars by Golf Digest in 2008 and 2009.
