Northgreen is an 18-hole golf course located in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, featuring 7,200 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 74.0 and it has a slope rating of 130. Established in 1974, the course was designed by golf pros Bob Toski and Peter Gibson. Located just minutes off of I-95, the course offers golfers a place to play golf with traditional characteristics. The course features various lakes, bunkers, and hills offering a traditional golfing experience. The course has Champion Bermuda greens.
Northgreen has hosted the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament multiple times. In the 1980s and 1990s, it played host to the ACC Golf Tournament, where notable golfers such as David Duval, Stewart Cink, Fred Funk and David Love III competed there for the conference championship. The course remains a public facility with both challenging and accessible characteristics for golfers of varying skill levels.
