Located in Miki City, Hyogo Prefecture, Masters Golf Club is a 27-hole facility set across a vast, flat hilly landscape. The course opened in 1990 and is designed to offer strategic challenges across its three distinct nine-hole loops: the Middle Course, the West Course, and the East Course. Each nine totals par 36, with the entire layout spanning a total length of 10,441 yards from the longest tees. The Middle Course and West Course serve as the official tournament grounds for the JLPGA-sanctioned Masters GC Ladies tournament. The Middle Course is characterized by its strategic design that utilizes the terrain's undulations to test a player's shot-making and putting skills. It features a yardage range of 2,702 to 3,509 yards. The West Course, ranging from 2,682 to 3,534 yards, is defined by its integration with nature, featuring ponds where swans rest and tree-lined views that add to the strategic complexity of the holes. The East Course, spanning 2,694 to 3,405 yards, offers a flatter profile on the eastern hillside. While the first two holes present initial challenges, the remainder of the loop provides wide fairways that still require thoughtful course management. A defining feature of the layout is the adoption of a Bent grass two-green system for every hole. The greens are approximately 700 square meters in size, offering significant surface area but complex undulations that make putting a demanding task. Most holes provide a clear view from the tee to the green, allowing players to plan their approach shots. Water hazards, including ponds inhabited by waterfowl, are strategically placed throughout the course to add a layer of risk and reward to the strategy. The course has a history of hosting professional events, having served as the venue for the Masters GC Ladies tournament since 2003. It also holds a notable place in golf lore for hosting Tiger Woods in 2001 and 2006. A plaque marking Tiger Woods' driving point is installed on the course, allowing visitors to see the distance achieved during his visits. The facility is equipped with a restaurant and natural hot spring baths in the clubhouse, catering to both competitive play and leisure.
