Gatley Golf Club is a 9-hole, par 68 course measuring 5864 yards, established in 1912 as a private parkland golf course. The club was founded when enthusiastic golfers rented land at Waterfall Farm for a nine-hole course, and the land was subsequently purchased by the club in 1950, providing a private, mature golf facility. The course plays as a full 18-hole round with alternative tees.

Measuring just over 5900 yards, it is not the longest course in the region but is demanding nevertheless, as it plays host to a neat array of cleverly placed and unforgiving hazards. Holes 7, 8 and 9 are notable, with 8 being a very good hole with a difficult par 4 finished off with a tight par 3. The course is set in a parkland setting with tree-lined fairways and strategically positioned bunkers that reward accuracy from the tee. The club is located at Waterfall Farm, Styal Road, Heald Green, Cheadle, Greater Manchester.
