Cheadle Golf Club was established in 1885 and is the oldest nine-hole golf course in Cheshire. The course is designed as a challenging layout suitable for golfers of all abilities. Located in the Cheadle area, the club combines sport with social amenities, featuring a clubhouse with bar, lounge, 19th hole coffee bar, committee room, patio area, and snooker room.

The club is characterized by its welcoming atmosphere toward new members and visitors. Beyond the main course, Cheadle operates Bruntwood Pitch and Putt, an 18-hole pitch and putt facility at Bruntwood Park, open daily from April to October. The club hosts a range of activities including social events, competitions, and society golf days. The clubhouse offers freshly prepared meals and bar snacks. Cheadle Golf Club also provides beginner lessons through its "Get Into Golf" program, offering group sessions and individual instruction to develop new players.
