Darrington Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course located near Pontefract in West Yorkshire, opened in 1993. The course was designed by Steve Marnoch and measures just over 6,300 yards at par 71, providing a championship-standard layout nestled amongst mature trees, rolling fairways, and strategic water features. The course presents a testing yet fair challenge for golfers of varying abilities, with lakes coming into play on numerous holes that demand accuracy from the tee.

Situated approximately half a mile south of the M62 motorway junctions 33 and 32A at Ferrybridge and just off the A1(M), the club benefits from excellent accessibility while remaining secluded from road noise. The parkland setting features natural hazards that require careful navigation, particularly around the water obstacles scattered throughout the layout. The course has established itself as a notable venue in the Yorkshire golfing calendar.

Beyond the golf course itself, the facility encompasses a 23-bay floodlit driving range with heated bays, a well-stocked pro shop with custom fitting services, and comprehensive clubhouse amenities including dining facilities and conference spaces. The club has developed a strong reputation for hosting society and corporate golf events in the Yorkshire region.
