Deer Cove Golf Course is an 18-hole military golf course located on Naval Supply Center, Cheatham Annex in Williamsburg, Virginia. The course has a par 65 and measures 4,439 yards. Deer Cove first opened for play in 1943. Built on predominantly flat terrain with narrow, tree-lined fairways, the course features no water hazards or sand bunkers, with small, sloped and fairly fast greens. Originally built shortly after the Cheatham Annex Depot was opened during WWII, golfing regulars consider the short course a fun and exciting experience. Amenities include a driving range, golf club and cart rental, and a small pro shop.
