Brambleton Golf Club ☆ Follow

Brambleton Golf Course was designed by William H. "Hank" Gordon and opened in 1994. Located in Ashburn just off the Dulles Greenway, the course measures almost 6800 total yards from the back tees and features several tiered greens, with significant water in play on six holes from the front nine and two on the back. Built on rolling terrain that was once farmland, the front nine features more wide open fairways than the back nine, while the back nine retains the tree windbreaks previously planted for protecting crops.

Signature holes include number 7—a par 5 almost 600 yards from the back tees with a narrow landing area off the tee—and number 12, a 145-160 yard par 3, with a beautiful downhill shot to a green surrounded on three sides by water. The course has a rating of 71.4 and a slope rating of 121. The rolling terrain features bunkered greens and fairways, large sand traps, and smooth putting greens.
