South Riding Golf Club is a championship golf course designed by renowned golf course architect Dan Maples, opening for play in 1997. Located in Loudoun County, the course sits in the award-winning community of South Riding, just 25 miles west of Washington DC. The 18-hole course plays to par 72 and measures 7,148 yards, with a course rating of 74.8 and a slope rating of 140.

The course winds over gentle hills between mature hardwood trees and grassy meadows. Water does not heavily come into play, and the layout is not overly bunkered, instead featuring strategic fairway bunkers and select greenside bunkers that reward thoughtful play. The signature eighth hole is a memorable 351-yard par-4 dogleg left, with multiple ways to approach the intimidating design, tempting players to cut the corner over trees at risk of a challenging approach shot.

Washington Golf Monthly Magazine voted South Riding to its "Top 100 Courses in the Mid-Atlantic" and Golf Digest nominated the course for "Best New Course" in 1998. The course is popular with all skill levels and offers a challenging layout with a variety of tee placements.
