Avalon Golf Estate is an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Peter Matkovich, located in the Bois Cheri region of Mauritius. The course is situated at high elevation in the south-central mountains, offering cooler temperatures and scenic conditions with consistent breezes. The estate spans 220 hectares of undulating landscape, featuring natural vegetation interspersed among tea-growing fields with rivers running through the property.

The course is characterized by tree ferns, majestic mountain views, and ocean vistas across the terrain. The layout incorporates the natural topography and local flora, creating a challenging championship-level course. Avalon functions as a comprehensive golf destination beyond the course itself, with a modern three-storey clubhouse positioned at the estate's highest point and fine dining options. The facility hosts golf tournaments, corporate events, and family celebrations. The development integrates residential components with villa plots ranging from 1800m² to 4500m², designed to preserve views of both the golf course and surrounding mountains while maintaining harmony with the natural landscape.
