The HUME September Midweek Mixed Meatpack Open is a monthly open competition held at Waihi Golf Club on Thursday 24th September 2026. Tee times are available from 10:00am to 11:30am. The event uses a Team Card format where the best stableford score from each of the four players per hole counts, with Gross, Net and Stableford prizes awarded. Entry is $30 per player, which includes twos. Visitors are very welcome. Tee times can be booked online via dot.golf or by calling the pro shop at 07 863 8678.

The club hosts a variety of regular weekly events and tournaments, ranging from single to multi-day competitions. Facilities include a bar, catering service, and a small pro shop offering golfing attire, snacks, and accessories. The course accommodates both walking players and those using electric carts or trundlers, and utilizes a Dotgolf scoring system for accurate handicap registration. The club serves as both a golfing venue and function facility for the local community.
