The East of England Seniors Scratch Open takes place on Tuesday 30 June and Wednesday 1 July 2026 at Hunstanton Golf Club (White tees). This is a 36-hole individual strokeplay competition played over two days (18 holes each day), affiliated with the England Golf Senior Men's Order of Merit 2026. Open to men aged 55 or over at the time of the competition. Suggested maximum handicap index of 4.6 (playing handicap of 6); all entries are at the discretion of the General Manager. iGolf handicaps are not accepted under any circumstances. Entry fee is £150 per visitor. Entries are limited to 60 players. Tee times begin at 10:30am on Tuesday and 08:00am on Wednesday. Complimentary tea/coffee is provided on arrival both mornings. A two-course meal is included after round one, served in the Dining Room; Jacket and Tie is required. If oversubscribed, those with the highest handicap indexes will be balloted out and refunded. Closing date for entries is Friday 12 June 2026. Practice rounds are available on Monday 29 June from 15:00 at £50 per person (contact the office on 01485 532811 to book). Prizes and presentation commence at approximately 13:00 on Wednesday; Jacket and Tie is required. Buggies are only permitted for those with a medical certificate.
