The Senior Gentlemen's Open takes place at Hunstanton Golf Club on Tuesday 6th October 2026, played from the Gold Tees. The format is 18-hole Stableford fourball betterball, with a handicap allowance of 85%. Entries are limited to 44 teams (88 players). The entry fee is £100 per visitor (a discretionary discount is available for members). American Express is not accepted. A minimum age of 55 at the date of competition applies. The maximum handicap index is 26.8 (playing handicap of 28). Entry includes tea/coffee with a bacon sandwich on arrival and a two-course buffet lunch after play. The closing date for entries is Friday 21st August 2026. The event operates on a first come, first served basis; oversubscribed entrants will receive a full refund. Practice rounds are available on Monday 5th October from 14:00 at £50 per person — contact the office on 01485 532811 to book. Competitors should register on arrival in the Golf Room. iGolf handicaps are not recognised under any circumstances. Buggies are only permitted for those with a medical certificate. Jacket and tie is required for the prize presentation, which commences at approximately 17:00. All entries are subject to approval by the Competitions Committee, which reserves the right to accept, refuse or cancel an entry without giving reason.
