Junior Open

The Junior Open takes place at Hunstanton Golf Club on Monday 17th August 2026. This event is also a Justin Rose Telegraph Golf Open Qualifier. It is open to all juniors who are under the age of 18 as of 1st January 2026. The competition is an 18-hole Stableford played off 95% handicap allowance, with tee times commencing from 12:00. Tees used are Gold 2026 (Men) and Silver 2026 (Ladies). The maximum playing handicap is 28 for boys and 36 for girls. Please note that iGolf handicaps are not recognised under any circumstances. Entries are limited to 50 competitors. The entry fee is £35.00 per visitor (a discretionary discount is available for members). AMEX is not accepted. Entry includes a goodie bag, burger and chips after play, and prizes. The Halfway House will be open from 13:30 to 16:30 serving complimentary drinks and snacks. In the event of oversubscription, a ballot will be conducted based on handicap index as of the closing date; unsuccessful entrants will receive a full refund. Closing date for entries is Friday 31st July 2026. Practice rounds are available on Sunday 16th August from 15:00 at £15 per person — contact the office on 01485 532811 to book. Competitors should register on arrival in the Golf Room and will be elected Honorary members of the Club for the day. Buggies are only permitted for those with a medical certificate. Pace of play is expected to be no longer than 3 hours 15 minutes. Presentation of prizes will commence at approximately 18:00.
