The Saturday Dog Fight is a recurring weekly Saturday morning golf event at Westport Golf Club in Denver, NC. The event starts at 7:30 AM and uses a Modified Stableford Point System where every hole is a chance to climb the leaderboard, score big, and take home cash and bragging rights. The $20 cash buy-in covers a points game, closest to the pins, skins, and a bonus random skin with a rollover pot. Green and cart fees are paid separately. Tee assignments: Men 59 and under play from white tees, Men 60-69 from gold tees, Men 70+ from red tees, and Ladies from red tees. All ladies and men 70+ will play holes 3 and 4 from the gold tees. Participants must have a verified GHIN handicap. Those without a GHIN handicap can still play for $10, which covers skins and pins only; their point quota will be established for future events. Sign-up is by phone, calling the pro shop by Thursday at 5:00 PM.
