The Saturday Dog Fight is a weekly individual modified stableford competition held every Saturday at 7:30 AM at Westport Golf Club. The $20 buy-in covers a points game, closest to the pins, skins, and a bonus random skin with a rollover pot. Green and cart fees are paid separately. Players must have a verified GHIN handicap; those without one can participate for $10 (covering skins and pins only) to establish a point quota for future weeks. Tee assignments are based on age and gender: Men 59 and under play from the whites, Men 60-69 from the golds, Men 70+ and Ladies from the reds. All ladies and men 70+ play holes 3 and 4 from the gold tees. Sign-ups are accepted by phone at the pro shop by Thursday at 5:00 PM.
