The Open Singles Competition is a weekly individual competition held every Thursday at Ardee Golf Club. The event is open to both members and visitors who hold a valid Golf Ireland or World Handicapping System (WHS) handicap index. The entry fee is €30. Players tee off from the White Tees. Booking must be made in advance via the Clubnet visitor booking system, with timesheets available 10 days prior to the competition date. Players must sign in on the day of play, pay the entry fee, and have their scorecard with their name, date, handicap index, and handicap number. Scores must be recorded in the locker room computer or via the Clubnet app after completion. The competition follows standard Rules of Golf and Club Local Rules. A valid handicap is required to be eligible for prizes. Dress code applies: collared shirts with sleeves, tailored shorts or long trousers, and golf shoes are required on the course.
