The Open Singles Competition is an individual competition held every Thursday at Ardee Golf Club. The event is open to both members and visitors (non-members) who hold a valid Golf Ireland / World Handicap System (WHS) handicap index. The entry fee is €30. Players must book their tee time in advance via the Clubnet visitor booking system (online) or through the Pro Shop. Timesheets are available for booking 10 days in advance. Players must sign in, pay the entry fee, and have the correct scorecard with their name, date, handicap index, and playing handicap. Scores must be recorded in the locker room computer or via the Clubnet app after completion. The competition is played over 18 holes from the White Tees. Dress code applies: collared shirts, tailored shorts or long trousers, and golf shoes are required. The event is run by the Ardee Golf Club Competitions Committee.
