Grevlingen

Grevlingen is a regular 9-hole strokeplay club tournament held at Kristiansand Golfklubb on Wednesdays throughout the season. The 2026 edition on August 26 features a shotgun start between 17:30 and 20:30. Players compete in mixed handicap divisions: Mix A (handicap under 15.0, ladies max 42, men max 49), Mix B (handicap 15.1 to 25.0, ladies max 42, men max 49), Mix C (handicap 25.1 to 36.0, ladies max 42, men max 49), and Mix D/VTG (handicap 36.1 and over, men from tee 37). Maximum score per hole is 5 over par. The event is open to all golfers of all ages and genders. Closest to the pin is played on holes 5 and 8 (one shot) and hole 6 (two shots, best lady and best gentleman). Longest drive is played on hole 4. An annual 'Lady of the Year' and 'Gentleman of the Year' are awarded based on best aggregate score through the season. The 'Grevling of the Year' is awarded by lottery to those who participate in the most events (12+ entries earn lottery tickets). The final is played over 18 holes on a weekend in September. Entry fee is 100 NOK. Online entry via GolfBox. Maximum 56 participants.
