Grevlingen

Grevlingen is a 9-hole strokeplay competition held at Kristiansand Golfklubb on 19 August 2026, with shotgun start between 17:00 and 18:00. The event is open to both men and women and is divided into four handicap classes: A-klassen (handicap +8.0 to 15.0), B-klassen (15.1 to 25.0), C-klassen (25.1 to 36.0), and VTG-klassen (36.1 to 54.0). Players use 100% handicap allowance. Men tee off from the 49th hole, women from the 42nd, and VTG players from the 37th. The maximum score per hole is 5 over the player's par (5 + allocated strokes). Closest to the pin is played on holes 5 and 8 (one stroke) and hole 6 (two strokes). The event awards titles for 'Dame of the Year' and 'Gubbe of the Year'. Entry fee is 100 NOK. Online entry opens on 12 August 2026 at 18:00 and closes on 18 August 2026 at 16:00. Maximum 56 participants. Tie-break procedure: lowest playing handicap, then mathematical calculation based on last 36/18/9/6/3/1 rounds, then lottery. Tournament directors are Inge Fossdal, Else Seland Bjørgum, Unn Houge, Jack Sylte, and Helge Skaar.
