Grevlingen (Gentlemen & Ladies)

Grevlingen is a regular 9-hole strokeplay tournament held at Kristiansand Golfklubb. The event on 12 August 2026 features a shotgun start between 17:00 and 18:00. Players compete in four handicap classes: A-class (handicap +8.0 to 15.0), B-class (15.1 to 25.0), C-class (25.1 to 36.0), and VTG-class (36.1 to 54.0). Tee offsets are 49 for men, 42 for women, and 37 for VTG. The maximum score per hole is 5 over the player's par (with allocated handicap strokes applied). Nearest the pin is played on holes 5 and 8 (one stroke each) and hole 6 (two strokes). Prizes are awarded for 'Årets Dame' (Lady of the Year) and 'Årets Gubbe' (Gentleman of the Year) based on the tournament standings. Entry fee is 100 NOK. Online entry opens on 5 August 2026 at 18:00 and closes on 11 August 2026 at 16:00. Ties are broken by lowest playing handicap, then mathematical tiebreak (last 36, 18, 9, 6, 3, 1 rounds), then a draw of lots.
