Grevlingen

Grevlingen is a regular 9-hole strokeplay tournament at Kristiansand Golfklubb, played on the 18-hole forest course with 18 different tees. The event is open to both men and women across four handicap classes: A-class (handicap +8.0 to 15.0), B-class (15.1 to 25.0), C-class (25.1 to 36.0), and VTG-class (36.1 to 54.0). Players use 100% of their handicap. The tournament features a shotgun start between 17:00 and 18:00, with a maximum score of 5 over par per hole (including allocated handicap strokes). Nearest the pin competitions are held on holes 5 and 8 (one stroke) and hole 6 (two strokes). The event awards titles for 'Dame of the Year' and 'Gubbe of the Year' (women's and men's winners). Entry fee is 100 NOK. Online entry is managed through GolfBox, with entry opening on 29 July 2026 at 18:00 and closing on 4 August 2026 at 16:00. Ties are broken by lowest playing handicap, then mathematical tie-break (last 36, 18, 9, 6, 3, 1 rounds), then lottery. The tournament is organized by Else Seland Bjørgum, Unn Houge, Jack Sylte, and Helge Skaar, with Inge Fossdal as tournament coordinator.
