Individual stroke play junior open at Presque Isle Country Club, Presque Isle, Maine. Part of the Maine Junior Open Series. Open to all juniors under the age of 19 who hold a Maine GHIN handicap index (maximum index 16.0 for high school age, 28.0 for middle school age). Juniors without a Maine GHIN handicap index may obtain one through Youth on Course membership ($30). Entry fee: $30. Two coed flights: High School and Middle School. An optional two-player team competition runs alongside the individual event; players may choose their own partner and team entry is not mandatory. 18 holes played on Friday, June 19. Entry deadline is 10 days prior to the event; entry must be made online via Golf Genius (a Golf Genius account is required). In the event of a tie for the overall individual championship, a hole-by-hole playoff will occur. Players are not permitted to use motorised carts. Withdrawals made more than one week before the first round receive a refund less a $25 processing fee; no refunds within one week of the first round.


Prizes

Individual High School and Middle School Champions each receive a trophy and $200 in Maine Golf vouchers. Overall Team Champion receives a trophy and $300 in Maine Golf vouchers.
