Coakley-Russo Memorial Golf Course

Coakley-Russo Memorial Golf Course is a nine-hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., with a par of 35 and yardage ranging from 2,700 to 3,300 yards. The course is located at 151 1/2 Knollcroft Rd, Lyons, New Jersey 07939, in Somerset County. Nestled in the scenic Somerset Hills region, the course features meticulously maintained fairways and greens complemented by breathtaking views. On Memorial Day, 1947, the course was presented to the VA Medical Center by New Jersey golfers as a gift. The course was dedicated to the memory of all New Jersey golfers who gave their lives in World War II and is named in honor of two New Jersey Professional Golfers, Lt. Francis X. Coakley and Sgt. Nick Russo, killed while in the service of their country. The official pace of play rating from the NJSGA is 2 hours and 13 minutes. The course offers comprehensive practice facilities, which include a practice putting green and chipping area.

Cobblestone Park Golf Club is a 27-hole championship golf course located in Blythewood, South Carolina. Designed by renowned architect P.B. Dye, the course offers challenging play and scenic beauty. The 27 holes are divided into three distinct nines and stretch across more than 240 acres of rolling hills. There is plenty of elevation change throughout the course, including some of the highest points in the county, and it features prominent mounding and unique bunker shapes reminiscent of P.B. Dye's father's designs. The par 3s can play tough at Cobblestone Park, with many having forced carries over water and natural areas. The signature hole is a 454-yard par 4 where the tee shot yields a 60-foot elevation change down to the landing area, which doglegs right, then back up the hill to the green. Strategically placed bunkers frame the greens and towering oaks and pines loom above the fairways. Cobblestone Park serves as the home course for the University of South Carolina men's and women's golf teams and provides them with some of the finest playing and practice facilities in the country. The course opened in 1995 and is open to the public with membership and daily fee options available.

Cobbs Creek Golf Course Olde

Cobbs Creek Golf Course, established in 1916, is a 340-acre public, city-owned golf course in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The historic 18-hole Olde Course was designed by the design team of Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner. Originally designed by renowned course architect Hugh Wilson (architect of the famed Merion-East course), the Olde Course is a mature tree-lined golf course. Accuracy is a must on the front nine as the layout takes full advantage of the namesake creek, which meanders through the course and comes into play on the first six holes. The back nine is equally as challenging and is highlighted by a string of lengthy holes including the monstrous 638-yard 14th Hole. The Olde Course is the crown jewel amongst Philadelphia's courses, having been nationally ranked as the #6 Best Municipal Course by Golfweek Magazine. Cobb's Creek served as host to the 1928 USGA Amateur Public Links tournament and a PGA Tour event, the 1955 Philadelphia Inquirer Open. Charlie Sifford, the first Black golfer to play in a PGA tour event, learned to play at the course. It was one of the first courses in the area to welcome golfers of all races, ethnicities, and genders.
