Club de Golf Altorreal is an 18-hole, par-71 course situated in the foothills north of Murcia city, within the Urbanización Altorreal development in Molina de Segura. Opened in 1994, it was designed by Welsh architect Dave Thomas and was the first inland golf course built in the Region of Murcia. The course stretches to 6,220 metres from the back tees and is arranged as two returning nine-hole loops, both starting and finishing at the clubhouse. The layout is tree-lined throughout, set among more than 20,000 pine, olive, and carob trees, giving it a distinctly natural, semi-rural character. Terrain is gently undulating and generally walkable. Water features on six holes, with the 9th and 18th — both notable par 5s — presenting the most demanding water-influenced challenges.
