Located in Saint-Colomban within the Laurentides region of Quebec, the Club de Golf Capri offers two distinct courses designed to accommodate golfers of all skill levels. The facility features the 18-hole Le Dauphin course and the 9-hole Le Requin course. Le Dauphin is situated near the shores of Lac Capri, providing a picturesque setting that appeals to walkers and precision-oriented players. The course is characterized by numerous sand bunkers, water hazards, and distinctive greens that add complexity to the round. Le Requin, a 9-hole layout, presents a more open terrain with elongated shapes that reward power and distance. This course offers panoramic views typical of the Basses Laurentides landscape and features dual flags on the greens to allow for varied routing during a second round. The combination of these two courses allows for a 27-hole experience, providing a challenging yet accessible environment for both beginners and experts. The club has a long-standing history in the region, having been founded in 1965. Originally starting with a 9-hole course, the facility expanded in 1978 when the initial layout was converted into the 18-hole Le Dauphin course. A second 9-hole course, Le Requin, was added in 1997 to further diversify the playing options. The club celebrates its heritage with an upcoming 50th anniversary, marking decades of service to the local golfing community. Facilities at the club include a putting green, a reception hall suitable for tournaments, a terrace and bar, a mobile canteen, golf lessons, and equipment rentals. The courses are open daily from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, providing ample opportunity for play throughout the week. The location is accessible, situated just 10 minutes from Saint-Jérôme and 40 minutes from Montreal, making it a convenient destination for golfers in the area.
