The Warwickshire Golf and Country Club is set in the rolling countryside of Leek Wootton, approximately 2 miles north of Warwick Castle in England's Midlands. Founded in 1994, the course was originally laid out in four loops of nine holes by Karl Litten, the architect who fashioned the famous Majlis course at the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai. These four loops were reconfigured in the winter of 2005 into two distinct courses, named the Kings and the Earls after Richard Neville, the 16th Earl of Warwick. The club features a 45-hole complex with two 18-hole par-72 courses: the Earls at 7,133 yards and the Kings at 6,821 yards, plus a 9-hole Castle Course. The Earls Course is characterized by tree-lined fairways and tight driving holes, with tricky greens, woodland holes and water hazards offering a championship golf experience. The Kings Course is American-style parkland with wide fairways, large undulating greens and water hazards throughout, blending risk and reward with memorable par-3s and an inspiring finishing stretch. The 9-hole Castle Course is ideal for beginners with holes ranging from 90 to over 200 yards. The courses have hosted many professional tournaments including a European Seniors Tour and the Midland PGA Final. The courses are situated across 465 acres of picturesque Warwickshire countryside, with designer Karl Litten choosing to include distinctive characteristics of inland links, woodland, Americana and parkland across the layout.
