The Brisbane Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course located in Tennyson Memorial Avenue, Yeerongpilly, Queensland. Established in 1896, the club is a premier golfing destination thanks to the vision of its founding members. Originally established in the nearby suburb of Chelmer, vital residential development forced the committee to seek a new home, and eight years later Scottish immigrant Carnegie Clark designed the first layout on the current property. The 18-hole championship golf course has been influenced over time by course architects including Carnegie Clark, Dr. Alastair MacKenzie, Wayne Grady, Ross Watson and more recently Paul Mogford, and is currently listed in the Top 100 in Australia according to Golf Australia and Australian Golf Digest Magazines. From the blue tees the 18-hole layout is a par 72, 6,105 metres for women and 6,676 metres for men, with a Slope of 130. After the devastating floods of 2011, the club decided to convert all its greens to Champion ultradwarf Bermuda grass, beginning in 2012 and taking three years to resurface all 21 holes. It remains the only course in Australia with the Champion grass surface. Oxley Creek, a tributary of the Brisbane River, cuts through the course, while Moolabin Creek flows into the eastern edge. Water comes into play on 12 holes across the property. The course has hosted the Queensland Open 21 times and is described as always being in super condition and a genuine challenge.

The course features 6,200 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70, with a course rating of 69.1 and a slope rating of 126. The rolling terrain of the original layout is reminiscent of classic Philadelphia area course routings from the 1920s, while the original front nine remains, the back nine has been completely renovated and reflects a contemporary, target-oriented design. The Bucks Club is an 18-hole public golf course designed to challenge seasoned golfers while relaxing novices. The Carrick Golf Course

The Carrick Golf Course is an 18-hole championship layout situated on the western shore of Loch Lomond in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland, set within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park — the first golf course to be built within a Scottish national park. The course was developed by the De Vere Group as part of the Cameron House resort and opened in 2007. It was designed by Canadian architect Doug Carrick, after whom the course is named, and represented his first major design project in the United Kingdom. From the championship tees the course measures around 7,082 yards and plays to a par of 71, with five sets of tee positions extending down to 5,200 yards to accommodate golfers of varying abilities. One of the course's most distinctive geographical features is that it straddles the Highland Boundary Fault, with the front nine played on relatively flat lowland ground incorporating inland lagoons and water hazards, while the back nine climbs onto higher Highland heathland before descending to the loch's edge for the closing stretch. Views of Ben Lomond and the surrounding mountains are prominent on the front nine, while several back nine holes offer elevated panoramas across Loch Lomond. The par-three 14th, known as Tappet Doon, plays from a tee some 60 feet above the green on the most northerly point of the property and is widely regarded as the course's signature hole. The layout features around 118 bunkers throughout, contributing to its strategic complexity. During construction, archaeologists from the University of Glasgow uncovered significant Bronze and Iron Age artefacts on site, representing the most important archaeological finds in western Scotland to date. The Carrick has hosted the Ladies Scottish Open and the PGA Cup among other events. The wider Cameron House resort, which includes the historic baronial hotel on the loch shore approximately two miles from the golf course, also offers the nine-hole Wee Demon course as a shorter alternative.
