The Olde Dutch Mill golf course opened in 1952. Located in Lake Milton, Ohio, the 18-hole course winds through tree-lined fairways, natural springs and historic landmarks, offering a blend of sport, scenery and relaxation. The course features rolling terrain, water hazards, sand traps and fairways that reward precision — all set against the backdrop of the Lake Milton Dam, the Mahoning River, two 120-foot bridges, a Revolutionary War–era cemetery and lush wooded areas. Olde Dutch Mill offers five sets of tees, so every golfer can find the right challenge. The course has an onsite driving range with 4 practice tees. The course, driving range and full restaurant are open to the public year round. The course is part of a unique entertainment complex that includes the popular Halliday's Winery. Stone features prominently throughout the design, with approximately 750,000 tons of stone winding their way around and through the course, lining tee boxes, cart paths and water hazards. The course is challenging but fair, with trees hugging nearly every hole and significant elevation changes. Notable holes include the fourteenth par 3, tucked back into the woods, and the fourth par 4, where the entire right side of the fairway is lined with water. The course has a rating of 74.3 and a slope of 149. The course has been recognized in Golf Digest's rankings as "Number One Public Course in the State," "Best Courses in the State," and "America's 100 Greatest Public Courses". It was selected by Golf Magazine as one of the Top Ten new public courses in 1999 and has been ranked in the TOP 50 public in the United States by GOLF DIGEST. The course has not hosted historic PGA Tour events.
