Yankee Clipper Golf Course (The Villages) ☆ Follow

Yankee Clipper is a 9-hole executive course with a par of 29, stretching 1,978 yards from the longest tees. The course was designed by Clifton, Ezell & Clifton and opened in 2009. Situated on the west bank of Lake Sumter, the course occupies 54 acres of land. Yankee Clipper features two par fours and is recognized as one of the longest executive courses in The Villages, with greens featuring interesting and challenging slopes that make the course unique. The signature hole is the first, a par three featuring a beautiful view over water with surrounding bulkhead and bunkers. The challenging topography of the greens makes strong putting a huge asset when playing this course. Golfers can play from three sets of tees, making the course as friendly or competitive as desired.
