Wolf Mountain Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course located in Wister, Oklahoma, in southeastern Oklahoma near the Poteau River valley. Designed by Jim Johnson and opened in 2000, the course plays to a par of 72 with yardages ranging from 5,163 yards from the forward tees to 7,016 yards from the championship tees. The course rating is 72.1 with a slope of 121. The heavily-wooded, rolling terrain is accented by ten lakes on the property, with narrow, undulating fairways and large contoured greens that test golfers of varying skill levels. The course sits atop Cavanal Hill with scenic views of the Ouachita Mountain Range and surrounding hill country.

The signature hole is the par-3 eighth, which plays 190 yards between two stands of trees across a creek to a deceptively shallow green. Other notable holes include the par-5 tenth at 551 yards, the longest hole on the course, and the par-3 fifteenth at 173 yards. The course features newly installed bent grass greens and operates as a semi-private facility that is open to the public. Amenities include a clubhouse, pro shop, snack bar, putting green, and driving range.
